Well it is the beginning of March here in the Sunshine State. A bit chilly today but hey, I am not complaining. The blistering heat will be back before I know it. Driving my daughter to work this morning, I couldn't help but notice all the pretty colors bursting out in our park. This is what I enjoy most of living here. If I was back in Boston, I would be viewing old, dirty, exhaust ridden snow. Instead of have the gorgeous in take of the purple Jacaranda out my back window, the pretty flowers that my associations keeps up so well on are simply gorgeous!
On that note, my daughter's wedding is approaching fast. The bridal shower was Friday night and it was okay, a lot of no shows but all my friends were here. I think she bad mouth's me so bad that she has created her own entity and they didn't want to come to my home (shame) my other two girls put so much work into it and not to mention the money and food wasted. One of the Brides-maids didn't even show up.
I certainly hope they don't do this at the wedding at $17.00 a plate. My parents whom BOLDLY over stepped me are paying for the food and I know for a fact that it will be upsetting to them should no shows be pulled. One of the most joyous occasions a mother can have with her daughter is a wedding and my PARENTS have ruined it along with my daughter selfish wants. I just want it to be over with already!
